The expansion introduces Creature Banks with predetermined defenders and rewards that increase with battle difficulty. Empowered Ability cards provide stronger versions of familiar abilities, while the double-sided neoprene boards support naval and standard combat. The included solo scenario is the first playable outside a regular campaign.
